This is correct, don't worry. We have partnered with i5 Networks to bring you Tribe. We're pretty new so a lot of our systems are updating and changing, as part of this we're adding new services all the time. That's correct, it will do that for a while. We haven't quite finalised the design for Tribe branded SIM Cards , as our carrier of choice for infrastructure is O2 and the best thing to get you moving with us is to issue a O2 SIM card to you. It will say O2 as your Network Carrier on your device. This will also change at some point in the near future.

If you have moved over from another network you may need to unlock your phone. Maybe you've been given your phone by a family member and bought it off a friend, great! Well don't worry. This is often the case and is nothing to worry about. You can use to find your handset and follow their advice for the best way to unlock your device. Great Right?

Simply select your handset from the drop down list and follow the step by step instructions. There may be a small cost from a local or major retailer to unlock your device, usually in the region of £10-£15. They will typically do phone unlocking there and then or within a few hours so you can be up and running with great expeidience!

Unless you're Vodafone, O2, EE or Three most networks do, this is because it costs billions for the governemnt rights to use the 3,4 and 5G signal bands. After that there's the cost of erecting hundreds and thousands of masts to broadcast that signal. We had a whip round and but unfortunatley we were £1 short of our funding target, give or take a billion. Networks such as Giff Gaff, Tesco, and well anyone who isn't one of the big 4 all piggyback on their signals. through our use of i5 Networks we use o2 as they provide what we believe the most reliable service to counsumers and businesses. As we grow larger we will hopefully add more networks to our offering to improve our signal quality further.
